But, OV tries to wins games by himself, and Sidney plays for the team. I still like OV better.

I still think it will come down to the goalies, and I don't think it will get to 7.

Hell I wanted to pick all 4 to end in 6, but that felt weird...

Ovy is going to turn it up a notch for Sid and Malkin. Watch Ovy hit EVERYTHING.

I think the Detroit v. Anaheim series is going to be a good one to watch as well... but I think the the Red Wings are still a little too strong for the Ducks. I want the ducks to win, but I think the wings will win it in 7 (or 6).

Chicago v. Vancouver - I want the Hawks to win it so I'm going to say Chicago in 6.

Boston v. Carolina - I just don't think Carolina has enough this year. I think it's Boston in 6.

Finally...
Pittsburgh v. Washington - this is going to be another intense series. I've gotta agree with BE about Sid v. OV... Sid is more team oriented, but even I'll admit that OV is one hell of a player. If he were on my team I would love that guy... but he's not. I think the X factor is going to be that the Pens keep Sid and Malkin on two different lines. Washington can't have that many line matchups. Plus... Pittsburgh's 3rd line (Staal, Kennedy and Cooke) has been playing incredible hockey. That line is going to blowup against the Caps. Pens in 5 (or 6 - I kinda wanted to pick every series in 6 games, too. It just seemed right).

LET'S GO PENS!!

Got this in an e-mail ...

"San Jose (Reuters) –

A 12-year old boy is being hailed as a hero for his actions in a San Jose restaurant yesterday afternoon. The boy was dining with his parents at the up-scale ‘Loft Bar & Bistro’ on Second St. , when a man began to choke on a piece of steak he was eating. The man’s face began to turn red as he pointed frantically at his hockey jersey.

Luckily for the man, 12-year old Steven Cooper knew what to do.

“I saw the man point to his Sharks jersey” recalled Steven. “I knew from past years that around late April anyone wearing a San Jose Sharks jersey is prone to choking, so I suspected he was in trouble.”

The boy proceeded to run across the restaurant and administer the Heimlich maneuver.

“That boy saved my life.” Said the man, wishing not to be identified. “This Sharks jersey is better than a giant sign that says ‘help me, I am choking in late April.’”.

Several Sharks players, who were getting a pre-game drink, witnessed the event. Patrick Marleau, the Sharks captain, had a front row seat for the heroism.

“This kid came from nowhere, what a hero.” Marleau stated. “I wish I could prevent choking like that,” He added.

Sharks goaltender Evgeni Nabokov was also in attendance. “That child, so brave!” Said the goalie as he mishandled his butter knife, dropping a dinner roll that hit the ground and rolled slowly between his feet as he attempted to stop it. “Darn, that always happens to me”.

Cooper’s parents said they raised the boy as a Sharks fan, and that may have been the best decision they ever made. “Only a boy used to so much choking would have been able to save that man, and little Stevie has been around choking his entire life.”

PUCK Fittsburgh!!!!!

Oh wait, I can cuss here... Fuck Pittsburgh!!!! Penguins = :nutters:

Should be a good series. Hope OV can keep his mind on the game and not be too focused on hitting Malkin and Cindy. Although, there WILL be plenty of that!!

Caps in 6. :jnj

Boston is looking good. It might be another sweep!

The Ducks are going to give Detroit some problems. Last night was a close game. Detroit in 6.

...and I think there's another series but no one cares about the team that will lose to Detroit in the conference finals.

OK. 1 down, 3 to go.

Caps doing what they need to do. I just wish OV didn't hit the post so much!
