Shat, got to judge your beer. It was fantastic.

Thanks... I jumped straight to the scores. Got some great feedback! Thanks to all the judges! Good thing I have some beer left!!!

Suck it Mylo, you lazy fuck, it took you this long to set up that bullshit asshat site and coordinate a few community brews, fuckin douuche, I tell ya.

And for all you fucks who didn't give my beer a 40+, I have still have your addresses, maybe I mail you my next turd..........

..... ... ........ .... ....... ... ........ ... .. .. ... . .. .....
.....oh wait, sorry, I was drunk when I wrote that, I appologize for that what which is above

Prost Mylo and all my BN brothas who participated

Mylo has given all of us a huge amount of his time and provided us with a great website, sounds like this internet radio hack I heard of

and thanks to my judges for your feedback which pretty much mirrors what I think, but you guys were a little less harsh, I appreciate that.

I'll get in on the next one that I can, work has prevented me from brewing much lately.

Shat comes home a winner? That may be pushing it. His beer is a winner. Shat's still out of work, ugly and living in Pacheco. We still love him, though.

Congrats to all those who advanced and thanks to those who judged mine. I appreciate the feedback.

And thanks to Mylo for going above and beyond on the Community Brew site. Judging from his score, he put a lot more effort into that than into his beer.

I just want to add how great these community brews are for working on judging skills. I don't have the opportunity to meet regularly with a club, so I don't get to sample much homebrew other than my own. These swaps are helping me not only to learn the parameters involved in judging, but also to understand the subjectivity and diplomacy involved in judging beer, appreciating honest, educated criticism of your own beer, and tactfully evaluating other brewers' beers.

Thanks to everyone involved - and especially to Mylo (I sent you a few beers in appreciation, but UPS informed me that they didn't survive the trip - will bottle this week and send a few more out).

Yeah, well, I knew it was going to be a roll of the dice. I was trying to emulate the Brother Levonian given out at NHC. I guess a little too much black pepper and tumeric was perceived as phenolic. The Brett version is even better, but was not ready in time.

And thanks for all the kind works, brothas. I did it all for the army. The best way you can repay me is to spread the word and become involved in future community brews. Please suggest your favorite recipe or style. And, if a style comes up that you don't want to brew - but you still want to taste - then please participate as a judge only!
