I've got a 9 gal ss pot which is still in the box. Want to brew my extract hefe this weekend. Is there anything in particular I need to do prior to using the pot to brew?
Any special care instructions?

Only one little foam over (I let myself get too far away from it... lesson learned). Definitely need to keep a close eye when getting it up to the boil.
