Well the TBN could have a presense, however, the members entering under the TBN, should be made to be within a defined geographical location to Pachinko (sorry if I murdered name). So they do constitute a local club in that instance that are confined by a georgraphical location just as other clubs are.

Also, just want to point out that I am not trying to offend anyone here, just spouting off my personal opinions and feelings on the topic. I realize not all are going to agree with me and that is fine.
Other clubs dont have geographical restrictions. If they did, most of the club of the year awards in the last ten years would have been different. My opinion is dont try to create a restriction on the BN unless you do it for the other clubs too. One set of rules.

This was a follow up post to another post I made, all clubs should have to comply to that requirement, not just the TBN, I used them here as they are one of the more odd examples as they don't have any geographical location other then where the broadcasting is done from (or sever location, if we want to go the silly way).

I just think it would make the award have value, then it shows hard work, dedication to brewing excellence, and dedication to fellow club members, unlike now. right now it is a free for all where there is no loyalty to your proper club. Especially since these are the nationals, these awards are suppose to represent excellence in brewing and beer crafting.

Let us restore this award to a place of honor, and raise it up above the common as it is now. Let it be so, that those who hold the award my hang there heads high with pride as it should be upon the traditions held for so long.

I did my part...Just got my medals in the mail yesterday!

I entered 4 beers and got 4 medals! 2 silvers for my APA and English Bitter, and 2 bronze for my IPA and Porter! I am psyched and they all go to The Brewing Network club.

Go BN!

Out of curiosity how many members does the BN club have compared to some of the other large clubs? Does anyone know?
