clogged sanitary filter - aeration pump

Sun Jul 31, 2011 4:31 pm

So, I picked up an aeration pump from More Beer a few weeks back. I used it for the first time yesterday. Worked great!

So, afterward, I placed the stone and hose in a bucket of PBW to clean it up. Well, I went on to cleaning other things, and forgot about it. When I came back to it, the in-line sanitary filter had fallen into the bucket too. Now I get no air flow. I disconnect the filter, and air is pumping. When the filter is connected though, I get no air through the hose.

I figure it's because the filter got wet and clogged. Will this dry out and work for airflow again? If it does, can I still consider it sanitary? Or did I muck up the filter after one use?
