wow...have you ever been here or had the beer? why don't you come visit Utah and I will show you all the great beer we have here...Yes the mormons don't drink it but that leaves that much more for us...look at this years GABF medals

Epic Sage Saison - Bronze
RedRock Paardebloem - Gold
RedRock Zwikle - Silver
Hoppers This is the Pils - Bronze
Uinta Baba - Silver
Uinta Sum'r - Silver
Uinta Bristlecone - Gold
RedRock Nut Brown - Bronze

there are a few eastern states that have worse laws than us...its really not that bad here anymore...about the only shitty law is no high point beer on draft but you can get it in a bottle so does it really make that big of a difference?

edit: and we can homebrew legally unlike some of your neighboring states down south there

:asshat:
On Deck: porter, berliner weisse
Fermenting: xtra pale
In the keg/bottle: golden delicious apple cider, brown rice lager, german pils

BeaverBarber please don't instigate and make us Texans easy targets.

EL TIZZO, all of Texas' neighbors allow homebrewing.

Uinta crafts some fine brew.

People from Utah are crazy, not because the don't drink beer, but rather because at some point someone said they could take on numerous wives and they thought that shit was a good idea. Could you imagine three wives bitching about your hobbies and all the stupid shit you do? One's enough...

SOME people. Although, with multiple wives, you increase your chance that one of them doesn't have a 'headache' in the bedroom...

Live in Eastern WA, there as many Mormans living in my county as any in Utah... We have some strange city ordinances because of this, but I've got my homebrew and the bottle shop down the street. My neighbors do look at me funny when I start brewing in my :nutters:
Bottled: fresh hop pale ale
On tap: Moose bile strong ale
In the cellar: Taqu'il's Fat Black Imperial Stout
Lagering:
In the fermenter: Moose drool clone
In the works: Taqu'il's Fat Black Imperial stout

Granted on the SOME, but the real question is how many headaches would YOU have?

polygamists live in Texas too!...do you people not watch the news...Warren Jeffs?...i think the Kingston family is the only polygamist family left around here and the dad is in jail...polygamists are not technically mormons or LDS (not sure why I'm defending but I am)...any remaining polygamists are FLDS or fundamentalist latter day saints which are radical off shoots of the religion...much like the taliban and all that bull shit

the majority of the "regular mormons" are very nice and accepting people...Like Sakaibrew said, theres a few odd laws here and there but all in all its pretty normal around here...our city is one of the cleanest, prettiest places I have ever been...you really need to come visit to appreciate
