Newcastle. It's been ages but always a solid choice. I think they're using a new bottle now. I seem to remember them being the SN-style stubbies instead of these taller ones with a short neck & there's a very pronounced bell beneath the crowning lip now. I liked the old ones better.

Drinking some of my Summer Saison left over from a horrible bottling experience. bottled 4 bottles before I remembered, Oh yeah these need somekind of sugar to carbonate.... then after getting that all figured out, my siphon being a complete dick, and a bottle decides to explode when my wife is capping them. Glass all over the brewroom. :jnj I hope brew day goes smoother than bottling. :jnj
Bottled: fresh hop pale ale
On tap: Moose bile strong ale
In the cellar: Taqu'il's Fat Black Imperial Stout
Lagering:
In the fermenter: Moose drool clone
In the works: Taqu'il's Fat Black Imperial stout

Indeed Day Tripper Pale Ale. Really nice beer, lots of hop flavor and aroma.
Gimme oysters and beer (and Durian) for dinner every day of the year...

Alaskan Freeride APA.

Holy shit. From my experience Alaskan has the spectrum between blah & blech! But this is an awesome, awesome beer. Blind tasting I would've guessed 100 breweries before Alaskan & still wouldn't have believed it. If it weren't for the body & color, I'd think it was a mini-IPA. Loads of Centennial, Cascade & Citra, bitterness is perfect, flavor is dialed, a little light on the aroma. The biggest disappointment was I bought the last 6 pack. Hoping I find this one again soon.
