Our club picked 50+ bushels of apples and pressed about 150 gallons of juice this weekend. I now have 10 gallons of cider fermenting away with wild Nebraska yeast. Tomorrow I brew a saison and later this week a bourbon vanilla imperial porter.

Mashing my second brew of Tasty's Session Pale, subbing Mosaic for the Cascade and Centennial. Gonna split the batch between US-05 and 1968.

Brewed this about a month ago, and the keg only lasted a few hours, with some friends.

Good to know. I'm brewing it for the first time in a couple of weeks. Tomorrow, I'm brewing Pliny the Toddler from the last Zymurgy.

I sense a theme.

Heating my strike water now for a all Citra pale ale. I ditched my HLT and I'm going no sparge. I hope it works because I completely dismantled my setup to do it

Well that was the worst brew day ever for me. Used whole flower hops, clogged my dip tube, false bottom and my chiller. Took an hour to chill using a tiny immersion chiller.

I'll never use whole flower hops again that's for sure...

I brewed on Friday night after work and everything went perfect. From heating water to cleaning up, I was done in 4.5 hours. I did an Oatmeal Stout (75 minute boil ) that I'm going to add toasted coconut to in the keg.

I may never brew in daylight again if this is the way my brew session goes! :D
